Shopping - Where to Shop In & Around Austin

If you are looking to do some shopping during your stay there is no better choice than Austin. With Austin 5 star hotels near every major shopping center location is not an issue. Upscale shopping centers like The Domain, The Hill Country Galleria, The Arboretum, and more traditional Barton Creek Mall are shopping Mecca's around the city. Hill Country Galleria located out 71 past Bee Caves rd is a beautifully designed center with eclectic stores, decious dining and Office and living spaces. At the Hill County Gallery you will find a few five star hotels Austin, as well as some of your favorite businesses. Why not handle your business over lunch and then pick up a new outfit to celebrate your latest business deal without leaving the Hill Country Galleria.

Barton Creek Mall is located off the south side of Capital of Texas Hwy. One of the few actual Mall's in Austin Barton Creek Mall is home to the Barton Creek Resort and Spa as well as other Austin Luxury Hotels. With both large chain stores we all know and love like JcPenney's, Nordstroms, and Sears, and smaller equally loved stores like Abercrombie and Aveda, and Coach. Even your children will find fun in the Build-A- Bear store.

SOCO refers to the shopping 'corridor' along one of Austin's main streets. Home to many Austin luxury hotels and several Boutique hotels downtown Austin. With eclectic bohemian energy and lots of small boutiques this is a tourist hot spot. Primadora is a small boutique just south of the SOCO district also off of Congress. It has been in Austin for about 10 years now and is near an Austin 4 star hotel as well as the Magnolia Cafe, an eclectic restaurant that boasts being open 24/7 365 days a year. At the Primadora merchandise is always changing, unique gifts and home d�cor is in stock. One thing that remains the same is the great prices.

Breed & Co. is an upscale store located in Central Austin and in the afluent Westlake community . Similar to Crate and Barrel or William and Sonoma. Breed & Co. sells everything you need to furnish your high end home. With Hardware, Lawn and Garden, Kitchenwares, and Home gifts. In the 70's it was a hardware store not far from UT. And today Breed & Co. still carry UT clothing and gear.
